Since 1989, Northwest Mushroomers Association members have sponsored mushroom forays and hosted annual mushroom shows. Most have been documented with species lists. Here, in one place, are some of the more recent of these lists.
Identifications were done by our members using the keys and species names current at the times of the lists. Since few vouchers were made to support unusual findings (some may be available among the identifiers’ collections), there is no way to be absolutely sure of all of these identifications. In addition, presently accepted scientific names of mushrooms today may be different than those in these lists. Nevertheless you may find them useful to help identify your own collections.

Since 2008 and up until 2022, the MushRumors newsletter was published periodically. These newsletters are filled with interesting past articles and photos, “Mushrooms of the Month,” recipes, and more.
NMA plans to continue publishing select new stories articles up to the website and made available as PDFs. Club members are welcome to submit your stories, recipes, photos, cartoons, and artwork.
